Is it that time again . . . Fall :O)

Ok, already getting excited  . . . it's that time again Fall!  Started adding some touches of Fall around the Homestead.  I've already cross stitched a Halloween ornament which I will share in a post a little later.  Fall brings such wonderful memories of my children aka adult children when they were growing up.  As a Mother's view I don't think they ever grow up, sometimes so hard to let go too.  Wishing for grandchildren and still waiting . . . these kids are all career oriented for now.  Here's couple of pics, will post more later.  Blessings!

This time with PURPOSE

I've wanted for a while to create something special which would represent my relationship with Rexy.  Just completed a new cross stitch by Blackbird Designs called "Moonlight Visitor".  I decided to date it 2014 when Rexy and I came together.  The moth actually looks like a butterfly to me which represents NEW BEGINNINGS and the house represents LIFE, the tree represents GROWTH and the heart in the left hand corner represents LOVE . . . how appropriate could this one be for us :O)

Need to find the perfect frame to put it in  . . . dark espresso color maybe, I think that might look pretty.  Tell me what you think?  Blessings :O)

p.s. Can't quite figure out what the dog would represent in our relationship . . . hmmm!

Praising God for all my joy . . .

Only God can give us true joy in our lives.  Since this man, Rexy came into my life . . . so many things have changed.  We both asked God to bring someone in to our lives and this was the outcome.  The power of prayer is amazing!  From the very beginning we prayer together over our relationship and still do . . . it's been the best thing ever.

The pic above is Rexy and I having breakfast in San Juan Capistrano early one morning . . we love going out to breakfast.

We love to make dinners together, we'll decide what we want to eat and then go to the market, come home and cook it . . . yum yum!

This man is always surprising me too . . . my birthday cake, ice-cream included  . . LOL!

Spoils me too often  . . . but I absolutely love it!

So if you are single or widowed, or just alone, I highly suggest ask God to send someone into your life and you'll never regret it . . . best thing I ever did :O)  Blessings!

Having some fun at the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach

Last week Rexy and I attended the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach, Ca.  Always fun to go to and so many beautiful pieces of art to admire.  This was my second time attending this festival with Rexy.  Last year we bought a small piece of pottery by Mark Winner and absolutely loved it.  So we decided to start to collect his pottery and bought another beautiful piece this year.

The pic below shows the new piece on the left that we bought this year . . . the color is pale yellow.  This pic makes the pieces look like they have a lot more brown in them.  Loving them for sure :O)

Doing some stitching lately . . . Spring Farmhouse

You all know how much I love to cross stitch . . . well I found these awesome shadow boxes at Target. What I love most about them is the color, gray driftwood with a linen background with some brass thumbtacks.  I thought something cross stitch would look great in it.  I found a sweet pattern by Notforgotten Farm  called "Spring Farmhouse" by Lori Brechlin.  Really enjoyed stitching it,  loved the way it turned out   . . . here some pics to take a peek at :O)

"Boo Boo" needs your help . . .

Please help "Boo Boo"!

My cousin Elaine is reaching out on social media asking for help to raise enough money to fund surgery for her precious cat "Boo Boo".  I've attached a link if you have it in your heart to donate.  Boo Boo's  hind body is “moderately deformed” and he walks with a noticeable painful limp.  His right hind leg is longer than his left hind leg. This puts his body in an "S" shape, which is very painful.  He is given pain injections every 12 hours, but now the pain medication is taking a toll on his kidneys. Unfortunately, because his hind body is deformed, it has caused great pressure on his left leg and is now compromising the longevity of his life.  Boo Boo's leg needs to be amputated.

A Facebook page has been created for Boo Boo to learn more about his disability and to donate,  please visit his Facebook page at www.facebook.com/helpsavebooboo

These little creatures bring so much happiness to our lives . . . Blessings! :O)
