 It's always nice when Spring arrives  . . . it fills my heart with gratitude, a new beginning always!

Wanted to post some new pics today . . . but with no success.  My computer seems to be a little slow or its my iphone that doesn't want to send the pictures.  Well  . . .  I'll take a break and continue again tomorrow.  This is so frustrating to say the least.  Happy Thursday :O)

Creating some goodies for Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day always tickles my heart . . . anyone that knows me, knows I love to make my gifts and always something special too for my home.  I made a doll for my kitchen, she's an angel holding a heart and her wings are gold.  A sweet pin cushion made out of some vintage wool that I bought at this cute little quilting shop up in Paradise, California where Rexy's parents live.  I made this pin cushion for my Mom. I certainly couldn't forget to make some paper goods . . . thoses are always fun to do.  Hoping you all are getting ready for Valentine's Day in your own special way :O)

Rexy and I will be sharing the same address soon, so I thought I would create a doll using the same colors of the interior of his home that we are currently updating . . . I have the perfect little cabinet that sits on top of the kitchen counter, that she'll be sitting next too.

This pin cushion I made my Mom for Valentine's Day is stuffed with sand.  That was definitely a challenged for me . . . but I'm happy with the way it turned out.

I've been making these pinwheels lately and really enjoy putting them together

Well, you all know how much I love Valentine's Day  . . . thought I would do some more Valentines this afternoon  . . . it's always fun pulling out all my loot for Valentines, but sometimes my mind is completely blank, sort of struggled a little bit today  . . . but it's always lots of fun anyways :O)

I always get excited for Valentine's Day . . . I love making Valentine's for my family and friends.  My grown up boys thinks it's kind of goofy . . . but I still love to make them!  Decorated just a little bit around the homestead.  Feeling kind of sweet again :O)
