McArthur-Burney Falls . . . Absolutely Beautiful

Wanted to show you more pics of our road trip to Burney Falls in central California, absolutely a beautiful sight to see.  Rex and I stopped at a rest stop for something to drink and to check the map to make sure we were going in the right direction.

I don't know how true this is . . . but I heard this is the waterfall image they used for "Coors' beer.  This place is breathtaking for sure.

Here is a photographer in the bottom of the waterfall taking pics of a young man flying fish.  The water was a beautiful aqua color.

We hiked along the river and enjoyed the views.

This pic of Rex was on the way back from Burney Falls figuring out a scenic route to take back home.   We had an opportunity to visit a ice cave on the way back, sort of scary but it was exciting at the same time.  The cave is literally pitch black as you are walking through it with only a flash light.  It was a life changing experience definitely.  

Enjoying Life Again

I thank God everyday for bringing someone special in my life again . . . really having lots of fun.  If were not riding the motorcycle, were hiking somewhere or just sitting and talking away about nothing :O)  God always promises after trial, he'll restore and then some.  A time for everything for sure.

Rex and I just returned from a road trip to Paradise, California.  While visiting there, we visited "Honey Run" Covered Bridge, built in 1894 and took some fun pics.  I'll post some more pics later this week from McArthur-Burney Falls which was absolutely beautiful :O)

Sun Loving Day :O)

 My middle son Brian came down for a Easter visit from Wisconsin . . . we spent Wednesday afternoon at Huntington Beach.  Since moving to the OC I've spent a lot of time at the beach, it's been wonderful :O).  While there we had lunch at the Huntington Beach Beer Company and sat out on the balcony . . . the weather was beautiful.  I always love taking pics of my kids, of course.

I tried a new appetizer for the first time called "Poke".  Raw tuna, white rice, tomatoes, avocado, onion and wonton chips . . . yum yum.

Catching Up

Cassandra and I went visiting yesterday, catching up with old friends is always so much fun.  Pete and Irma have been in my life for over thirty years.  These are lifetime friends for sure :O)

Dave (aka Mr. Grumpy) and Pete were best friends and we did so much together with them and their boys over the years.  Time waits for no one.  Embracing the moment and loving on your family and friends is what it's all about.  Blessings xoxo

Going Riding . . . :O)

Ok  . . . I haven't rode a motorcycle in a very long time.  My new beau ( never thought I would be saying that )  loves to ride motorcycles.  I'm so excited to do this again.  Yesterday we went shopping for a new helmet and found one.  Now . . .  the big concern is "helmet hair".  The helmets get hot when wearing them and the hair goes flat, not a very pretty sight  . . . LOL!
