FAITH IS HAVING THE COURAGE TO LET GOD HAVE CONTROL
2014 was an awesome year for me . . . very liberating to say the least. I started to share my life with someone special and oh my I had no idea how much my life was going to change for the better. This man, Rexy has brought so much adventure into my life, has showed me places and things that I have never experienced before. I really thought after Mr. Grumpy passed away unexpectantly in 2010 that it was over, said and done for me in this life. God has a way of surprising us in life and showing us that he is never really finish with us just yet. In life I feel we are really here to learn and teach one another. It's really not about "us" plan but God's plan. Letting go in my life and allowing God to guide me was the very best thing I did . . . getting to that point was extremely difficult, unfortunately the only way to get there is going "through the valley", nobody likes to go there. Its dark, not comfortable, lonely and isolating and sometimes you lose everything. You feel like you will never be happy or enjoy life again. While in trial you learn alot about yourself, God is doing a work in you, he's actually changing you for the better. Better equipped to be of help or a learning lesson for someone else. As a Christian we call this servanthood and that's what we are created to do.
I'm looking forward to 2015 and I will continue to trust God and let him guide me where he wants me to go . . . I promise it will be better than you could ever imagine.
Blessings to all of my friends and family in 2015 :O) xo
A wonderful 2015 to you dear Sandy. Yes, your posts and photos show a woman who is liberated and getting to enjoy life at another level. So happy for you. Loved your Christmas photos. Oh... chocolates from Sees... what a delight. This year will be even more beautiful for you, my friend. Savor every drop of God's goodness.
ReplyDeleteSandra Dee! You experienced great loss and much disappointment with some. I knew that the tide would eventually change in your life and I'm rejoicing in the fact that you are fully experiencing His glory by having faith all along, even in the valley. I am so very happy for you and all of the changes. You deserve it! Mr. Rexy does too. :)
ReplyDeleteLove and miss you both, see y'all soon!
