Sunny Days are here again!

Sunny days are here again and Spring is on my mind, even though it's not even Valentines Day yet . . .

but I'm thinking about Bunnies with big ears and lots of cute stuff . . . .

like Spring hats and crochet scarfs . . .

flowers and gardening . . . and lets not forget . . .

blue shoes!

"A Life You Were Created For"

"Live Extraordinarily" Because You Were Meant for More by John Bevere

Here's the point so many miss; with grace we can receive the fullness of God's nature!  Grace is the gift that not only saved us but also imparts to us the completeness of God.  We are in God, he is in us, and we have the fullness of his nature.

"From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another" (John 1:16)

Sewing hearts and more hearts

Nothing like sewing when it's raining outside.  Love it!

Sweet Nothin's

Love is patient, love is kind.  It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  1 Corinthians 13:4

A gift of a Doll

Both of these dolls were given as gifts.  I just recently gave this doll to my sister-in-law for Christmas.  She can use her for Christmas and Valentines Day.

I created this angel for a dear friend of mine who recently loss her mother to cancer.  This doll reminds me so much of my friend.  Pretty both inside and out and an angel in disguise.  Enjoy the pics!

Love

We have God's invitation daily to dine at the table He has set before us. At this table is food that will add long life, length of days and peace.

Thinking about red hearts today!

Having fun sewing today . . . putting together a Valentine's doll. It's always exciting when I'm creating something new. She's a cutie, but needs some clothes and the rest of her body. Once the face is created, thats when all the fun starts.

Out of Tiffany's Shadow, a Woman of Light

Of course, it had to be a woman, to create something so beautiful. The first Tiffany lamp was created in the late 1800's by Clara Driscoll. I love Tiffany lamps. I have a small collection of them. They don't look like much in the daylight, but at night they are beautiful to look at. They warm up the room. I never seem to get tired of them and I've moved them around the house a few times now. They are so much more prettier to actually see them. The pictures take away some of the beauty. Here are some pictures of them at night.

Overcoming Faith

I believe there is only one way to all the treasures of God, and that is the way of faith. You get to know God by an open door of grace. He has made a way. It is a beautiful way that all his saints can enter in and find rest. The way is the way of faith.

Putting The Christmas Stuff Away

Ok, that last posting sounded sort of depressing. Now for some happy stuff. Once, my middle son returns to college up north, he's leaving tomorrow morning. I'll have my sewing room back. The room looks like a total disaster right now. Hopefully, I have some new creations to show you for Valentine's Day and Spring. Dave (Husband) took down my Christmas lawn decorations today, they looked so good out there this year. I always hate to put my Christmas stuff away. Here's some pics of the front yard with the lawn decorations.
