A group of ladies at my church put on a "High Tea" event . . so much fun. I really wasn't up to going but decided a couple of weeks ago to attend. Our friend Audrey, in the pink sweater above called me and said I've been invited as her guest to the tea event. There was no way out of this one . . my Mom and Cassandra my daughter attended too. I'm so glad we went.
Talking about tea pots, there had to be about 60 of us all together . . . all kinds of tea to pick from with a delicious menu of goodies too.
Some of these tea pots were just beautiful . . . I fell in love with this blue one . . each of the tables were decorated differently.
This was one of the center pieces and I was lucky enough to have my name pulled and was able to take her home with me . . but Mom eyed her immediately and I just couldn't help but give it to her. In the first pic above you could see how happy my Mom was with it. This is a beautiful piece to have . . lucky Momma!
That's our friend, Shelli seating next to Mom . . . Church family is the best!
Each one of the ladies that attended received this "Trinity Cross" as a gift for attending. I know just the person I want to give this too. Too nice to keep for myself . . . always better to give.
We were asked to bring a tea cup and saucer to the event . . My Auntie Mary who pass away earlier this year gave this to me about two years ago for my birthday . . how appropriate to use it today at this special event in remembrance of her.
