Last Saturday, we rode to Stearn's Wharf with Rexy's bike club and as always had so much fun. I really enjoy being on the bike, should I say it's sort of liberating, exciting to say the least.
We left early Saturday morning and I caught the shadow of Rex and I from the morning sunrise . . . too pretty!
I could not get over how aqua the water looked . . . I so wanted to jump in that water, being so warm with all my gear on. The views from the wharf were gorgeous, definitely a nice place to visit. We had lunch at Moby Dick Restaurant on the wharf. I enjoyed a crab and shrimp melt on sourdough, yum yum.
I took this pic of Rexy on the wharf in this old jacket he wears, beat up and ripped a little . . . he says it makes him feel proud for riding his motorcycle as long as he has, he's had this jacket forever. Not a whole lot of protection I might say . . . LOL!
These two pics above were on our way home, we stopped in Ventura to visit the coastal views, driving thru Malibu was totally congested with traffic, not fun. The day almost did not end on a good note, coming through Culver City, Rex's bike stalled on the freeway, the bike over heated, good thing we weren't moving too fast because of traffic, we exited the 405 freeway and we coast across to a parking spot, got off the bike, walked to the nearest gas station and got something to drink. Once we got back the bike turned on just fine and we took off again.
In this pic, Rex is calling the other riders to let them know we got off the freeway and had to wait a while to let the bike cool down.
The pic below has nothing to do with the ride to Santa Barbara, but I just had to post it, this is Bev and I trying to figure out my phone to do a selfie . . . I snapped it and Bev didn't know it . . . too funny :O) We were having breakfast with the bike club Sunday morning . . . this is something the club does every Sunday morning in Fullerton. Always too much fun . . . feeling very blessed, Thank you Lord xo
