My "Buttons"

Some of my friends in blogland have been sharing pics of their loyal companions, so I thought I would share some of mine . . her name is Buttons, she is a pitbull mixed.  She's a big girl, sort of on the stocky side, but a true sweetheart!

    what a cute dog! we have boxer...same color as buttons. jasmine is stocky and a great guard dog...scares strangers when they come on our place. but once she relizes you are a friend, she won't quit kissing! have a wonderful day!

    1st off, I love this picture of your dog, I'm in college and I miss my beagle and yellow lab so much! 2nd off, i just really appreciated your comment on Purple Cow's blog about losses. What you said about how we can control our emotions and miss out on the best things, that was so dead on and something I only realized a couple years ago I was doing myself in response to my dad's infidelity. I just loved what clear words you put that in, spoken like a true, great mom :) I'll follow you to see more pictures from the home life that I just dont see much of in college!

    Awwww...Buttons is so sweet looking! I miss our dog and there's just something so soothing to look at pictures of other people's sweet pets. I think she needs another hug, wish I was there in person! ~Lili
