Something Sweet To Remember

I helped a little old lady at Walmart the other day, she was so sweet, she told me she was turning 99 years old on May 22nd,  I asked her what kept her living all these years and she said this to me . . .

Make the best of everything; think the best of everybody; hope the best for yourself and never look back, just keep looking forward . . . how true:O)

  5. What a wonderful outlook on life! When my mom turned 80 I asked her what one piece of advice would she like to pass on. She said, "Don't ever let anyone tell you that you can't do something."

  7. How lovely for you to meet such a sweet lady! Sometimes people get bitter and crotchety in their old age. It's probably somewhat justified because their bones are aching and their lonely. But it makes it extra special when you meet an elderly person who is loving and sweet and you just know that any wisdom they can share with you is something you should listen closely to. I'm new to your blog - what an uplifting space you've created!
