Sunday with Mom

Mother's Day turned out to be a simple celebration with my family . . I received a beautiful  shadow box from my daughter Cassandra and a musical card from my husband Dave.  We went to church service and was surprise to see my brother and sister come in, my brother handed me a beautiful bouquet of flowers.  All of us went out to breakfast afterwards with our Mom and Dad and had a nice visit with each other back at Mom's place.

This is my sweet Mom and Dad . . .
That's Cassandra with her Uncle Junior  and her Auntie Debbie . . . it's always nice to get together with family.

  2. What a lovely family! After our special mother's day breakfast, my daughters prepared poems and took part in a mother's day show in the morning that we watched with my mother...we had lunch together and generally "hung out"...we even got to check out old photos. So many memories. It was nice.

I got a handmade necklace made by the most beautiful 6-year-old fingers in the world as well as a song composed, with lyrics, and performed by my 10-year-old. Lucky me!

  9. Hi again,
    Thanks for the visit!
Glad you go out on Sat with your mom too. It's fun isn't it. I'm usually the navigator, but I'm not that good at it. We have a GPS in the car which helps. My daughter maps out the sales on Friday night.
    Have fun this weekend,
    Rosemary
