My Boys

I've shared so much about my youngest, my daughter Cassandra.  I thought I might share a little bit about her two older brothers.   My boys mean everything to me . . I adore and treasure them both, they bring so much joy to my life. When I'm with them, they are like two pillars standing on each side of me.  They're both over six feet tall, my oldest is built like a football player with blond brown hair, which is getting darker as he gets older and my other one like a basketball player with dark brown hair,  they're three and half years apart. I often forget how old they are now, as a Mom you never really see your kids grown up.  I had the ultimate best time raising Davey and Brian.  When they were both so little, I remember having a blue leather "Esprit" drawstring bag, one would hold my hand and the other would hold the strap of the bag.  When I retired that bag, I didn't even want to throw it away,  it felt like I was throwing a piece of my life away.  Too many good memories and some sour ones too  .  . . . boy scouts, little league, high school wrestling events, music, fender benders, speeding tickets, and sports injuries. They both turned out to be just good men with true hearts and strong integrity.  Both are still in grad school and college completing there education, which I'm very grateful to God for.  God is good, isn't he . . he is always so loyal to all of us.

Here's a pic of them when they were little ones . . . this is how I'll always remember them.  Davey's on the left and Brian is on the right.

In this pic, my oldest is graduating from college.  This pic was taken in the living room at Davey's  fraternity house,  Brian is on the far left and Davey is next to him.

  2. Thankyou for putting up with my post. Although we are different religions you are right. It is so important to know that we both believe in God. I feel that if I don't share what I believe when we get to heaven my dearest friends will say, "Why didn't you share it with me?" So for this reason I'm pretty bold!! I know that we have a lot in common when it comes to our faiths. We both believe the Bible to be the word of God. We both have Faith that we will return to live with him someday. We both know that Higher Power can sustain us in our daily lives. That the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (the God of this earth) died for our sins and He is Risen. For this reason we are saved through his GRACE. We are all brothers and sisters on this earth. We are blessed to believe and Praise his name! I want to share what I love! I study other religions to understand our differences because I believe we must (no matter what our religions) BELIEVE and LIVE the GOSPEL. Live the ten Commandments and Serve others. Prepare to live again with our families when we die. TAKE CARE and don't give up on me! Love you! Sharon

  4. I see there is a good looking gene pool in your family. I'm lucky I don't have sons, I'd be so concerned making the perfect man that I would probably be a flop. You're good at it though! ;)

They sure don't make bags like they used to. I've already been through so many running from one sports event to another!

I love your posts about your family. You seem like such a great bunch. May you always be so happy, balanced and blessed!
