Taking a Risk

I read this wonderful christian book, "The Seven Secrets" by John Hagee.  My husband Dave and I are semi-retired, not by choice, but from life.  We took a chance and it work,  I know our faith played a big part in this and I'm so grateful.  I though I would share an excerpt from this book.

Everything in life involves risk:

To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.
To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.
To reach out for another is to risk involvement.
To expose feeling is to risk exposing our true self.
To place your ideas and your dreams before a crowd is to risk their rejection.
To love is to risk not being loved in return.
To live is to risk dying.
To hope is to risk despair.

Take a risk!  Climb out on the limb where the fruit is.  Your attitude is a choice.

  1. Very inspirational words... risks, huh! Too often we risk things that don't really matter and forget the basic stuff. So thanks for the sweet reminder.
