A Little Bit of my Christmas Decorations . . . Nativity Set

I thought I would share a little bit of my Christmas decorations . . . my Nativity Set was a Christmas gift I received from my brother Junior about 24 years ago.  This nativity set is made out of terracotta clay.  It is truly one of my favorite holiday decorations.  I found the manger believe or not at "Pic & Sav" for 7.99 years ago, it is made out of natural twig branches painted a muted green color.   It goes so well with this nativity set.  I also have a beautiful angel that stands 17" tall behind the manger, as if she is guarding and looking over it.
My Mom gave her to me for Christmas a few years and I absolutely adore her.   She is made out of paper mache with metal wings and a wired circle halo on the back of her head.  There is something peaceful about her,  I leave her out all year long.
Sorry about the flash in the pic below . . .

  2. Oh such a lovely nativity set.

Lately I have been dreaming of having a nativity set - a special one but something that I do not want to be so expensive. I'm on the lookout for such a set now. So, you can see how much I enjoyed this post.

    Keeping you close,
